PRE-APPROVED vs. PRE-QUALIFY
The accurate and confident way to get approved for a home loan is to select the “Apply” button. With this option we’ll check your credit, too, and you’ll be invited to complete a full application and securely upload to us all the documentation we’ll need to issue an actual loan approval.
If you only want to get a “rough idea” if you may qualify for a home loan, then select the “Pre-Qualify” button. With this option you simply answer some basic questions, only a soft-pull credit report is done under Experian, and no documentation is required.
